My Journey to the Akashic Records: What They Are and How They Can Support Healing.

When I was a child, I remember my grandmother speaking with excitement about a colleague who could find any information she needs about a person in a mysterious book.

“She reads from a book where everything is written in golden letters,” she told me.

It sounded almost mythical, like this woman could see beyond the surface of someone’s life and into something deeper, something hidden.

At the time, I didn’t exactly know what this meant but a part of me remembered this story.

Decades later, through a series of synchronicities, I found myself being guided toward what that story had pointed to.

The Akashic Records.

Not a physical book, but something more subtle.

The simplest way I understand it now is as an energetic field of information; a space that holds the imprint of a soul’s experiences, patterns, and potential.

When I first had my own Akashic Records read, something in me recognized it before I could fully make sense of it.

A part of me that had quietly held doubt began to soften not because I suddenly believed, but because I felt an energetic resonance.

That experience stayed with me.

Over time, I felt drawn to train in this work, not just to access that space, but to do so with care, discernment, and grounded boundaries.

Now, when I open the Records for someone, I use a sacred prayer as a way of attuning, entering a state where I can listen deeply and share what feels most relevant for them in that moment and what the client has the capacity to receive.

From that space, guidance tends to emerge in a way that is both simple and direct.

Sometimes it brings clarity to a decision.
Sometimes it reveals patterns that have been shaping someone’s life.
Sometimes it opens the door to a kind of healing that begins with being able to see something honestly.

And from there, something shifts.

WHAT ARE THE AKASHIC RECORDS?

Many people describe the Akashic Records as an energetic field of information that contains the imprint of a Soul's journey across time.

The word "Akasha" comes from Sanskrit and is often translated as "ether" or "space." In spiritual traditions, it refers to a subtle dimension that exists beyond the physical world.

While interpretations vary, some people view the Akashic Records as a living archive of every thought, experience, choice, and potential that exists at the soul level.

Others understand them more symbolically, as a powerful framework for accessing intuition, wisdom, and deeper self-awareness.

There is no single way to understand the Akashic Records. What matters most is the insight, clarity, and healing that people experience through engaging with them.

What People Often Receive From a Session

While every session is different, people often come away with:

  • A clearer understanding of patterns they’ve been moving through

  • Insight into decisions, transitions, or next steps

  • A deeper awareness of beliefs or inherited dynamics

  • A stronger connection to their own inner knowing

  • Healing that unwinds personal and intergenerational patterns

How to Prepare: Asking Questions

One of the most powerful ways to enter an Akashic Records session is through the quality of the questions you bring.

In my experience, supportive questions often begin with what, why, or how, not as rigid formulas, but as invitations into deeper awareness.

“What” questions tend to bring clarity and direction:

  • What is at the root of this pattern I keep experiencing?

  • What is most important for me to understand about this situation right now?

“Why” questions can open meaningful insight when they come from curiosity rather than self-judgment:

  • Why does this dynamic keep repeating in my life?

  • Why does this situation feel so activating for me?

“How” questions can be supportive when they focus on alignment rather than control:

  • How can I move through this in a more grounded way?

  • How can I support myself in this transition?

  • How am I being invited to approach this differently?

There’s no need to have perfectly formed questions.

Even a simple intention, or an honest reflection of what you’re currently navigating, is enough.

A Client’s Experience

Rather than explain more, I want to share this in someone else’s words:

Gayane held a space that was grounding, expansive, and deeply nurturing during my Akashic Reading.

The session moved in harmony with my pace, with Gayane gently guiding in a field of loving presence — even as we touched into tender, emotionally vulnerable terrain.
I could feel her, and the unseen energies that move with her, holding me in a stream of unconditional love.

If I were to sum up the session in two words: Gracefully POTENT.
