What Does a Solar Eclipse Have To Do With Your Life?
Sometimes healing asks us to move through darkness before we can experience the light again.
Yesterday we had a solar eclipse.
During a solar eclipse, the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, blocking the Sun’s light, casting a shadow on Earth and causing temporary darkness.
In our lives, we also experience shadow/darkness.
We are meant to pass through the darkness, so we can experience the light again.
It’s called a rebirth.
However, for many many people, especially in our changing and challenging world, that isn’t the case.
We can get stuck in the darkness and don’t get to experience the light, even though the light/sun is always shining.
I’ve been reflecting on why that happens.
And I realized that the shadow can be very deep and multi-layered.
As I was preparing for my masterclass, the following diagram emerged, which I titled “Layers of Healing” .
In modern psychology, we’ve been taught to primarily address the personal layer. Basically, the message is all the symptoms you experiencing have to do with you and your inner world.
In the last decade, some teachers, whom I have trained with, address the collective and ancestral layers.
Rarely have I seen teachers address healing from past lives. Honestly, just a year ago, I didn’t really believe it was that credible.
Until, I experienced past life healing from an amazing healer. As she was “doing her thing” I could feel the energy in my body shift, emotions were rising to the surface, I felt lighter.
I realized that it was real.
In my work with thousands of people, including 5 years of working in a treatment center with people who struggled with addictions/trauma/anxiety/depression/”you name it”, I’ve observed the importance of addressing all these layers.
Otherwise, we are either just scratching the surface or we are completely ignoring what could actually be contributing to our dissatisfaction, disconnection and an array of other symptoms we experience.
